
Dr. Alexander Singer
Alex’s focus at IBH is expanding and enhancing the University of Toronto Practice Based Research Network’s (UTOPIAN) impact and capacity to support primary care innovation and renewal in Mississauga and Peel. He is passionate about improving primary care delivery and resilience leveraging information technology in the areas of disease surveillance, virtual care and pragmatic primary care based clinical trials.
Alex is also a practicing family physician clinician-teacher and an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Manitoba where he serves as the Director of Research and Quality Improvement. He is the Network Director of the Manitoba Primary Care Research Network where he leads and collaborates on several regional and national practice-based research studies.
