With a background in public health and a passion for engaging and working with diverse communities, Shiza has supported various business development, knowledge translation (KT) and engagement activities across the organization. In her current role as a Project Manager with the Strategic Design & Business Development team at the Institute for Better Health, Shiza is responsible for supporting key business development initiatives including writing and editing proposals and pitches for different target audiences and potential donors. With over 4 years of experience in the research communication space and a passion for applying human centred design principles to her work, Shiza has co-design tailored reports, educational materials (e.g. presentations) along with key strategic communication pieces (e.g. annual reports, briefs) aimed at informing different target audiences.
