Dr. Minotti is a Senior Biostatistician and Scientist. She has a M.A. in Economics, Business Management, Informatics and Statistics from the Catholic University of Milan (Italy) and a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Trento (Italy). Her previous roles at IBH were Visiting Scholar (2019-2022) and Statistical Consultant (2017-2019). From 2006 to 2022, she was an Assistant Professor (tenured) in the Department of Statistics and Quantitative Methods, University of Milan-Bicocca, Italy. During her academic appointment she was a Visiting Scholar at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Guelph (2012), and St. Mary’s Hospital Research Centre in Montréal (2013, 2015-2016); in 2015 she was awarded the Molson Fellowship in Health Services and Policy Research from McGill University. The trajectory of her career has led her to focus more and more on applying the most advanced statistical methods to real-world problems, especially in the field of public health and health services.
