Jimmy is a Biostatistician supporting Dr. Walter Wodchis on multiple projects in population health and health systems research. Jimmy works with ICES population health data to understand the population composition and health services utilization patterns of Mississauga residents, as well as using state-of-the-art prediction models to identify high risk priority populations and inform health systems strengthening of the Mississauga Ontario Health Team. Jimmy is also pursuing a Ph.D. in the Health Research Methodology program at McMaster University, where he examines statistical issues quality improvement studies. Jimmy has worked with, and continues to collaborate with numerous interdisciplinary health research teams. He seeks to bridge diverse perspectives in healthcare towards tackling today’s most pressing challenges.
