Dr. Jimmy Hu
Dr. Jimmy Hu is a Biostatistician supporting Dr. Walter Wodchis on multiple projects in population health and health systems research. Jimmy works with ICES population health data to understand the population composition and health services utilization patterns of Mississauga residents, as well as using state-of-the-art prediction models to identify high-risk priority populations and inform health systems strengthening of the Mississauga Ontario Health Team. Jimmy recently completed his Ph.D. in the Health Research Methodology program at McMaster University, where he investigated the statistical and methodological issues of reporting, design and evaluation of quality improvement and quality improvement-adjacent studies across the spectrum of health care research. Jimmy has worked with and continues to collaborate with numerous interdisciplinary health research teams. He seeks to bridge diverse perspectives in health care toward tackling today’s most pressing challenges.
