Mohamed is a Principal Investigator at the AI Deployment and Evaluation (AIDE) Lab exploring safe and ethical application of machine learning algorithms to clinical, operational and population health problems using real-world data.

Mohamed obtained his PhD in Computer Science from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto, focused on healthcare natural language processing, privacy and ethics. He has previously collaborated with researchers at many healthcare institutions around the GTA, including UHN, ICES, Sunnybrook, and Women’s College Hospital among others.
